It could be neat to add support for the D programming language. Right now D lacks a strong editor, with two Eclipse projects slugging it out and Code::Blocks continuing its history of release-phobia, I think a little work would make JCreator D-compatible.
Just add the syntax highlighting files, add some default support for D (autodetect the location of the compiler and libraries, etc) and then write a code scanner to give auto-popup code assists and it'd be done. D isn't that much different from Java when you look at it, so I wouldn't be that hard - I think.

I'd rather have less programming languages, and in that, actually have all the features I want.
