hi im having this problem while tring checkstyle

C:\Archivos de programa\Xinox Software\JCreatorV3\Tools\checkstyle-4.0-beta1\3D\JmP\Scr\package.html:0: Missing package documentation file.
and:0: File not found!
Settings\Carlos\Mis:0: File not found!
documentos\Desarrollo:0: File not found!
3D\JmP\Scr\Song.java:0: File not found!
3D\JmP\Scr\Song.java:0: File not found!
Audit done.

my arguments are
"java -jar checkstyle-all-4.0-beta1.jar -c sun_checks.xml -r $[JavaFiles]"
and
C:\Archivos de programa\Xinox Software\JCreatorV3\Tools\checkstyle-4.0-beta1
is the initial directory

also have the same problem with
"java -jar checkstyle-all-4.0-beta1.jar -c sun_checks.xml -r $[FilePath]"

I think, that is problem, you have space chars in your path.
Install checkstyle into directory without spaces and it will work
(I hope :)  )

Thanks for the tip. I too think this is useful. I wish it would actually apply the formatting rules to the source code.

There's another tool out there - Jalopy - that does source code formatting.  I think it accepts a Checkstyle configuration file or something to make that sort of thing easier:
