I'm working with a school project that requires many forms of debugging. I decided to try out JCreator Pro instread of LE just to see how it acts in comparison to other Java IDE's.
After installation, I couldn't get it running. It states I have a debugger running. It's true that I have softice as well as msvc2003 and 6.0 on my system, not running, but since my class needs these software I can't possibly uninstall them just to try an IDE.
Is there another reason this error is appearing?
*Edit:
Please note: None of the other JIT debuggers are active. I do not have Sice Service started. I don't have Ollydebug on, or MSVS2k3 or 6.0 running.
This class work is starting to be a pain. In the mean time I'm going to continue working in LE since that doesn't seem to care about whatever is triggering the PRO version.
My only assumption is that it's checking the KernalFlag for if there's a debugger present, and it's seeing that there is. The problem is that I *don't* have one present. I can produce a process list if so desired.
(Oh Yeah: Thanks Xinox, your LE version of the program is great for starting Java programmers. It allows for the ease of having an IDE while not taking away from the learning experiance that one gets from a raw text editor. I find it an excellent program to start up on as I'm far from anything advanced.)
