I moved seats in my programming class at school and the versoin of JCreator here was set so when you compile it it returns a build output, i was wondering if there was anyway to change it to task list when i compile it,.

What you need to do is click the Configure menu, and click Options. Press the plus next to Workspace on the side and click Task View on the list. One of the options on the right says, "activate window after the build process."
